Praise and Pray on NDP May 4

When the righteous cry for help, the Lord hears and delivers them out of all their troubles. Psalm 34:17

Come praise the LORD and intercede for America on the National Day of Prayer (NDP) on Thursday, May 4, 2023 at 5 pm in Brooklyn Park. Freedom To Dance has been invited to minister one song during this event. The Prayer Service will be around 3 hours long, however dancers are able to leave if they need to do so after we have danced.

LOCATION: Alleluia Sanctuary Church, 5869 69th Ave. N., Brooklyn Park, MN

DATE: Thursday, May 4, 2023

PRACTICE TIME: 4:15pm

SONG: teaching video will be sent via email or Messenger

WHAT TO WEAR:  Please wear WHITE/WHITE.  We will provide skirts or overlays for females, as well as accessories for all.  Females please wear modest, all white tops (sparkles are fine but no colored designs please) and pants/capris/culottes (white leggings or tights are fine for those under 12).  We have a few extras, but not enough for everyone.  🙂  Nude/flesh colored dance shoes or going barefoot is fine.

Pray and Read God’s Word at Capitol

Another National Day of Prayer observance on May 4, 2023 is at Leif Erikson Park at the State Capitol. This year will be pairing a heart for prayer and the Word of God in a powerful alliance with the Minnesota Bible Readathon to declare the entire Bible over our state!

It will begin at 11:30 a.m. at Leif Erickson Park (by the State Office building across the street from the Capitol in St. Paul) with heart-level worship. The program will officially start at noon as our NDP-MN team leads us through humble prayer and repentance for ourselves, our state, and our nation. Our observance will conclude approximately 1:15 p.m.

MINNESOTA BIBLE READATHON
For six years now, the entire Bible has been declared over our state in one day! Please join us before or after the NDP program (10-11 a.m. or 1:30-3:30 p.m.) for the Minnesota Bible Readathon. We have divided the Bible into 200 readings, each 35-45 minutes in length. On May 4th, we will have two simultaneous Readathon circles — one encircling our Capitol as people decree the Word in person and the other encircling our state as people who cannot come to the Capitol are invited to declare the Word from wherever they are.

Use the SignUpGenius link below, please choose a Scripture passage, provide your email, and tell us your county in the comments section.

AROUND THE STATE: If you are not able to be at the State Capitol on May 4th but would like to declare the Word from your home or wherever you are, we invite you to use this SignUpGenius link: https://www.signupgenius.com/…/10c0945afad2da5facf8… so that we can see that the readings are being covered.

No Class on Thursday May 4

Due to ministering in Brooklyn Park on Thursday, 5/4, Freedom To Dance will not be having class at Lighthouse Church in the evening.

Celebrate Jesus on 5/27 at 10 am

The Lord reigns; let the peoples tremble! He sits enthroned upon the cherubim; let the earth quake! The Lord is great in Zion; he is exalted over all the peoples. Let them praise your great and awesome name! Holy is he! Psalm 99:1-3

Celebrate Jesus is a procession of praise through the streets of the city, celebrating the Lordship of Jesus Christ and culminating in a grand worship event in which Christians publicly proclaim the Glory, the Majesty and the Supremacy of the Savior. It’s all about Jesus … and nothing else.

What better time of the year for the Church to declare its oneness? Pentecost Weekend.

Pentecost marks the birth of the Church and the outpouring of the Holy Spirit to all nations. (Acts 2:1-4) Let’s celebrate our Savior throughout the Twin Cities in locations to be announced, this year on Saturday, May 27, 2023. Put the date on your calendar!

Holy Spirit’s Presence and the LORD’s Healing and Deliverance in Anoka!

Heal me, oh LORD, and I will be healed; save me and I will be saved, for you are the one I praise. Jeremiah 17:14

Thanks for your prayers! We sensed your prayer covering as well as Holy Spirit’s presence as we worshiped King Jesus with “Revelation Song” and “Greater Still.” The second song was a perfect lead in to testimonies about how the LORD had set people free, brought deliverance, and were healed the previous night all because His great Grace and Love!
