The theme of this prayer and worship gathering is Galatians 1:5. Our purpose will be to first acknowledge the ultimate source of our freedom through Jesus Christ, to express gratitude for God’s beneficent and providential hand in establishing America as a free nation, then to unite to pray for freedom’s future in America. Please invite your friends and family members to join you in kicking off your 4th of July celebration with us at Cass Gilbert Park from 10:00 – 11:00 A.M.

Important Logistics:

• Free, Accessible Parking! – Cass Gilbert Park is off the Minnesota State Capitol’s northeast corner, directly adjacent to Parking Lot Q off of Cedar Street. On Saturday the 4th, parking will be free with flat, direct access to the park across the street, which makes it even be handicap accessible. Cass Gilbert Park is the yellow shaded section in the map below.
• The Capitol building will be closed due to the 4th of July holiday, so there will be no restrooms or drinking fountains available. Please plan accordingly. Feel free to bring your own lawn chairs, blankets, or whatever will make you comfortable.
• Bring your Bibles and select a verse to pray over our country during our gathering!
• Freedom of movement in worship is welcome! There is a lot of glorious open space at this park which overlooks both the Capitol plus the city of St. Paul, so bring any American flags or worship dance flags that you would like to use.

Freedom To Dance former and current families, as well as prospective dancers that receive a direct email, are invited to attend the pool parties this summer on Saturday, June 27th and July 25th, at Jim and Willie Love-Winter’s house (6136 Kalen Ct, Woodbury, Minnesota 55129). The pool parties will be from 2-7 pm and include, of course, dancing for Jesus! 

Please RSVP to either Willie Love-Winter or Jolene Marek to let us know if you are coming!! Also, please bring a dish to share. The potblessing will start around 5pm.  A big thank you to Jim and Willie for hosting these get-togethers!
