Freedom To Dance Ministry

For those who wish to learn the streamer portion of Resurrection Chant for National Day of Prayer on May 2, here it is.

MOA did not approve the request for worship/dance on March 30.  We are still working on an alternate, but at this time nothing is scheduled for Easter weekend.

We are approved for Thurs, May 2 at 12:00 at the St Capitol grounds for National Day of Prayer – “Resurrection Chant”.  So, keep learning the song online and more info to follow on this.

Clothes Needed!

We will be bringing up some much needed, and requested, gently-used teenage clothing to a northern Canada native reservation the first week in April.  Please go through your closets (or ask friends and neighbors) for any items!

Bring to dance on MARCH 21 or MARCH 28 only!

Your gifts will be very much appreciated by those struggling to cloth their teens.

Here’s a small clip of one of the songs taught at the workshop.  The dancers will all amazing with hearts to come together and learn and grow in the Lord.

Hello Dancers,

We’re off on Feb 28.  March 7 is our firt night at Good Shepherd.  For directions, see the column on the right under facebook info.  Same practice times.

Hope to see you there!  Bring friends!

We all had a fabulous time at River of Life Christian Center today, beginning with three workshop teachers and ending with a praise celebration which packed the house.  Thanks to River of Life for gathering up an amazing group of worshipers.  Praise the Lord!

I’m pumped. Just choreographed this song today to teach tomorrow morning at the workshop… to streamers! We’ll be dancing it in the evening too! Hope to see many of you there at River of Life.

River of Life, Arnold P William Center, 999 Selby Ave, St Paul – Workshop from 9-12pm.  If you’re not registered, you can still show up at the door.  Cost $25 includes lunch.

River of Life Center, 739 Summit Ave, St Paul – Evening praise event starts at 6pm.  Free will offering.  Join dancers across the Twin Cities.  Come to watch and/or sign up to dance a song.

We will be cancelling practice for the teens & adults the night of April 18, opening up schedules to attend the worship event with Jesus Culture at Hosanna! Church.  If you have not listened to the music of this group, they are very passionate about the Lord.  Join us by buying your tickets.  Tickets will go quickly, so make sure to get them early.

Hi friends and dance ministry partners,

I’ve been praying and feel God wants me to dance “God’s Not Dead” by the Newsboys

for the River of life conference Feb. 23rd in St. Paul. (It’s my Valentine’s present to Jesus)

If you would like to join me, please watch this video Rich made (thank you, hubby!) and hopefully we can coordinate something simple but powerful. Lynn said that she may have a big flag of a lion by the time of the conference. So cool!!! Pass on the link to anyone who may be interested. And please pray it will come together quickly

Love, Jolene (Adult Glory Dancer)

Hello Twin Cities Dancers,

Freedom To Dance has been working with Heart of the City band to establish a date, time, and location for dancing for Easter.  So far, it’s looking like it will be at MOA on Sat, March 30, but this is not yet confirmed, but we wanted to inform you of potential plans so that you might start to prepare and notify others.  We are asking all those with a dancing heart for the Lord to join us in celebration of the Risen Savior for Easter.  We would like to gather 100’s in the name of Jesus and share our passion for Him with others.  This dance is fairly easy to learn.  You can learn it at home in front of your computer and then join us for the event.
