Just wanted to remind everyone that we do have class tonight!  We will be starting on our Christmas songs, so the snow is fitting!!  🙂

Also,remember to bring in your contributions for the service project we are doing for the Christmas season – Blessing Bags!  We will probably assemble them during the Christmas party.

Freedom to Dance Service Project

Here’s some ideas of what to bring for blessing bags (but feel free to add your own):

• Thermal socks
• Beef sticks
• Crackers
• Granola bars
• Toothpaste & brush
• Wipes
• Deodorant
• A card with some Scripture verses and a nice personal note of encouragement from you
• A personal size Bible
• $5 or $10 bill

What a joy to see the Holy Spirit moving in the children as we worshiped the Lord with them at Lighthouse Christian Church! Thanks to everyone who ministered with us and thank you God for your presence!!

We are leading worship for the Lighthouse children’s church (Potter’s House) on Sunday,  November 20 at 10:15 am (Practice 9:15 am).   Please wear BLACK/BLACK.  Songs listed below.

     What to wear: BLACK/BLACK  Please wear a plain short or long sleeved black shirt and black pants/capris/culottes.  Dance shoes or barefoot is fine.  We’ll provide everyone with some type of overlay.

Come To Faith Covenant Church in Burnsville and join in a special night of Praise and Prayer tonight, Tuesday November 8th from 6:30 to 8:30pm. In lieu of rehearsal we will be having a special time of prayer and praise for our country reaffirming our Faith and Hope is firmly rooted and grounded in the Lord Jesus Christ. We believe the Lord has led us to include whoever would like to join Freedom To Dance in this; we will focus on the real King and Ruler of our nation as our country goes to the Ballot Box to cast their vote for our new President and other elected officials. We believe it’ll be a Wonderful and Powerful night! God bless you and we look forward to seeing you at Faith Covenant Church in the lower level youth room the north side (park in the lower/north side lot and come in the double doors, we’ll just be to the left). We will have flags and other worship instruments but you can certainly bring your own as well. God bless you and keep praying for our nation.

2. New Day Church Women’s Event – On Friday, October 28, New Day Women’s Group will be creating worship scarves and hearing a teaching by Cheryl on the Biblical meaning of colors and the use of scarves/veils in worship.  Although not everyone can participate onsite, prayers for the workshop would be appreciated!

We look forward to seeing you tomorrow, Tuesday, September 20 for our first class of the 2016-17 season!  First hour (5 year olds-5th graders) at 6:30 pm and Second hour (6th graders-adults) at 7:30 pm at Faith Covenant Church in Burnsville. We meet in the Youth Room on lower level, so use lower parking lot and enter double doors.

Freedom to Dance’s 2016-2017 season will start on Tuesday, Sept. 20, at 6:30 pm for the Joy Dancers (4 years old-5th grade) and 7:30 pm for the Glory Dancers (6th grade-adult) at Faith Covenant Church!!

We hope you all have had a blessed summer and are adjusting to your new Fall routine!

We look forward to starting our new season of classes on September 20!  New and returning dancers are welcome!!

Each class will start with a brief Q & A time regarding this season in lieu of a separate parent meeting.  Please bring your filled out registration forms or a 3×5 picture of each dancer to attach to the forms we will have available.

Location: 

• Faith Covenant Church, 12921 Nicollet Ave. S. Burnsville, MN
• Youth Center on lower level.  Entrance:  Coming from the south on Nicollet, do not turn into the main parking lot, but take the next turn into the lower level lot.  Coming from the north, you will need to make a U-turn to get to the lower level lot.  There is a back door there that opens right into the hall of the Youth Center.  If you park above, you will need to go down the stairs to the youth center.

Who?:

• Anyone who wishes to dance for the Lord.  No previous dance experience necessary.
• Boys and girls!
• All churches are welcome to join that believe Jesus Christ is Lord and the Bible is their standard of Truth.  This is a multi-church ministry.
• FREE ministry.

Date:  Tuesday, September 20

Times:

• 6:30-7:30 pm –  Joy Dancers (4 years old-5th grade)
• 7:30-8:30 pm –  Glory Dancers (6th grade-adult)

Practice for the Rise & Shine radio show at the State Fair will be Tuesday, August 23 at 6:30 pm in the Faith Covenant Youth Room.  (Enter from the lower level parking lot and it’s the first room to the left.)  All dancers welcome.  If you are unable to come to the scheduled practice, you may still participate with flags/veils/etc. in back or on sides if you are comfortable with free/Spirit led dance.  We look forward to lifting up Jesus’ name with you!!
