Freedom To Dance Ministry

We hope you are having a blessed start to 2019!!  We will have a combined class from 6:45-8 pm at Robert Trail Library (14395 Robert Trail) in Rosemount on Tuesday, January 15, in their meeting room.  We look forward to making new memories with you!

Praise the LORD!  He has provided Jolene and family with a new home over the break and they are busy settling in and unpacking.  Glory to God!  We have potential places for holding class regularly for the second half of the year and progress has been made.  Thank you for your continued prayers.  We know Jehovah Jireh (the LORD our provider) has a location for us and it will all come together in His perfect timing!

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to our F2D family! We pray you had a Blessed and Joy filled Christmas with your family and friends!!

In 2019 may the Wonderful Counselor bless you with wisdom and direction as He, the Sovereign LORD, leads and guides you in new paths and opportunities!!

The Freedom to Dance Christmas Party will be this Thursday (12/20) at Illumination Church!  We will meet from 6:30-8:30 pm for food, fun, and dancing.  Families are invited to join us.  Come when you can, leave when you have to!  Please bring a dish to share!!

Thanks so much for everyone who danced, prayed, and blessed us this Christmas season.  Thank you for bringing Light and Joy to those we ministered to at the Christmas parties at Hosanna! and for the Oasis de Amor’s Women’s Group.  At the Women of Wisdom party an elf (former F2D dancer) joined us for one song!  And at the the Women’s Group party many joined in for our final song, “Noche de Paz.”  Praise God for all the answers to prayer, including healing and making a way for dancers to come!!  He is our Provider: Emmanuel–God with us!

Summary: We are ministering tonight at  Hosanna! (12/13) and will gather in Room #3.  We will dance 2 songs at each party and wear WHITE/WHITE for females and WHITE/BLACK for the males.

Thanks to everyone who came on Tuesday and being flexible with the change in songs.  Thank you also to everyone who helped out!  God used us to touch many hearts and bring joy!! One comment received was “I really enjoyed your performance tonight.”

What to wear:  Please wear WHITE/WHITE for the gals and WHITE/BLACK for the guys.  We will provide skirts or overlays for females, as well as accessories for all.  Please start looking now for modest, all white tops (sparkles are fine but no colored designs please) and pants/capris/culottes for your female dancer(s) to wear, if you do not currently have them.  The males will wear white tops (can be white buttoned shirt) and black bottoms. We have a few extras, but not enough for everyone.  🙂  Nude/flesh colored dance shoes or going barefoot is fine.

Praise the LORD for using us to bring the light and joy of Christmas to Stonecrest Senior Living! The residents were blessed by the dances and one suggested we come every holiday. ☺️ Another said she had never seen anything like it before and thought it was wonderful. Thanks to Pastor Jim for inviting us and to everyone who came or prayed for us!

You are invited to join us for the chapel service at Stonecrest Senior Living on Wednesday, December 5, to help share the Joy of the Lord this Christmas season with the residents through dancing for Jesus, the Light who came into the World!!  We will be dancing “O Holy Night” at the beginning (3 pm) and “Silent Night” at the end (3:30 pm).  The songs are split up so that those in school can join us for the final number and interacting with the residents before they go to supper at 4 pm.
