Freedom to Dance Pool Party & Reunion, Sunday, Aug. 15, 2-7:30 pm
Current and former F2D dancers and their families are invited to Jim and Willie Love-Winter’s house (6136 Kalen Ct, Woodbury, Minnesota 55129)! Come for fun, dance and fellowship in and by their heated pool. Pop corn, punch, salad and hot dogs will be provided. Potluck will start at 5 pm.
Please RSVP to Willie at 1-651-459-0443 to let her know how many people will be coming. Please bring a dish to share and pray for good pool weather!
Part performance, part participation, Neighborhood Dances is a series of mini dance concerts performed in public spaces. Carol Oyanagi is offering this as a way to respond to the difficulties and challenges of this past year by spreading joy, blessings hope and healing through movement and dance and also acknowledging God as our higher perspective and hope. All ages welcome to join in or watch.
Rehearsals are usually outside on Wednesdays in NE Minneapolis, unless there’s inclement weather then rehearsals will be rescheduled to Thursdays. Next rehearsal is Thursday, July 15 from 7-9pm. Please contact Cheryl Johnson at freedomtodancemn@gmail.com for location and further details.
At the performances they will be teaching parts of the dances to anyone who wants to participate. There will be ASL signing and options for limited mobility and movement. Please bring a lawn chair or a blanket/towel if you’d like to sit. Next performances are at Lauderdale Community Park (1885 Fulham Street, Lauderdale, MN) on Thursday, July 29 at 6:30-7:30 pm and Saturday, July 31, starting at 2pm at B. F. Nelson Park (434 Main St. NE, Minneapolis, MN 55413).
We will be celebrating the 2020-21 season with a pool party at Jim and Willie Love-Winter’s house (6136 Kalen Ct, Woodbury, Minnesota 55129) and potluck plus, of course, dancing for Jesus on Thursday, June 3! NOTE change in time because of potluck. People may start arriving at 5:30 pm and potluck will start at 6 pm, however come when you can. Please let us know if you are coming!!

Come to the March for Jesus on Saturday, May 22, at 10 am. The March will be for one mile and about an hour in duration at various parks throughout the Twin Cities, including Commons Park (425 Portland Ave S, Minneapolis, MN 55415) across from the US Bank Stadium. There will be food trucks to purchase food from and a picnic after the March. Go to Eventbrite for tickets to indicate you will be there!
We will be holding our Thursday practice at Lighthouse Christian Church, so we can rehearse in the space we will be ministering in on the 13th. We will meet at the usual time 6:30-8:30 pm. See you there!

Come and help create new worship garments for the team this coming Saturday, May 8, from 9-11:30 am! We will need various sewing skills from those that can thread elastic in a pre-sewn band to machine sewers. We will be at 5901 Brooklyn Blvd., Brooklyn Center, MN. We are feeling led by the LORD especially in light of the historic times we are living in to gather in unity with others to Worship Jesus and release breakthrough in our region! We will be meeting at The Father’s House at 6:25 pm to carpool together to the Let Us Worship gathering at Spiritual Life Church (6865 Shingle Creek Crossing, Brooklyn Center, MN 55430) in Brooklyn Center in lieu of holding our usual gathering at 6:30pm. Let us know if you will be joining us in carpooling there!
Freedom To Dance is resuming classes this Thursday, March 18! The new Zoom link will be sent via Messenger and email. Look forward to seeing you at The Father’s House to worship King Jesus and give thanks to the LORD this Thursday, 6:30-8:30pm!!
Freedom To Dance is extending Spring Break by one week, so there will NOT be class this Thursday, March 11. Ms. Jolene is still out of town with her family and Ms. Cheryl continues to recuperate from wrist surgery. Classes will resume next week, March 18!
