Our end of season potluck and last class will be held at Schulze Lake Picnic Area in Lebanon Hills Park (inclement weather location will be Renewed Hope Church) on Thursday, May 14th, from 6:30-8:30pm. We’ll be celebrating summer birthdays.  Family members are invited to join us.  Please bring food to share! Fruit, veggies/dip, rice crispy bars, jello squares, chips/dip or another favorite that you or your dancer would love to share with everyone.

We have been invited minister through Spirit led worship dance during an Art Exhibit at Centennial Lakes Park on Sunday, May 17th! The music is selected by the organizer to match her theme.  This art exhibition is an annual event for Christian artists of all kinds to showcase their art, including dancers. Please let Cheryl know if you are interested in magnifying and celebrating the LORD with her at the Great Commission Artists’ Art Exhibition.

WHAT TO WEAR:  Please wear WHITE/WHITE for the gals and WHITE/BLACK for the guys.  We will provide skirts or overlays for females, as well as accessories for all.  Females please wear modest, all white tops and pants/capris/culottes (white leggings or tights are fine for those under 12).  Males please wear white tops (can be white buttoned shirt) and black bottoms. We have a few extras, but not enough for everyone.  🙂  Nude/flesh colored dance shoes or going barefoot is fine.

You are invited to join others for an informal prayer and worship gathering at the Minnesota State Capitol from 5:30-6:30 PM on the day that the Rededication of America to God is taking place in Washington DC on Sunday, May 17th! During the gathering there will be an opportunity to dance “The Blessing” song as a benediction over Minnesota and the USA. WHERE: Cass Gilbert Park (30 Sherburne Ave, St Paul, MN 55155) next to the Minnesota State Capitol. Parking is free on Sundays in Lot Q, which is across the street from the park.

During my prayer retreat in April the Lord called me, Cheryl, into a sabbatical season for the next four months starting on May 20th to Pause and Be in His presence. The LORD spoke to my spirit saying “it is a shemitah* summer for Freedom To Dance. Let the ministry field lie fallow so I may restore its strength and vigor.” Therefore I am laying down Freedom To Dance activities over the summer. That is, I will not be accepting ministry engagements or planning outreaches. I will be sending out communications infrequently and hope to attend social gatherings that others organize. Currently the plan is to start classes again in the Fall at Renewed Hope Church.

May Jehovah Shalom, the Lord Our Peace, revitalize and restore you over this summer filling you with His presence and refreshment!!
