Freedom To Dance Ministry

Happy Thanksgiving from Freedom To Dance!! At class we gave thanks to the LORD for who He is and what He has done! Specifically that El Shaddai hugs us with His peace and presence when anxious (testimony from a dancer who was spiraling into anxiety then felt God’s peace and presence like a big bear hug), loves us, breaks through and fights for us, supplies forgiveness and grace, blesses us with teachers, is our confidence, and heals shattered hearts and makes the person whole.  Then we gave thanks through motion to the song, “Gratitude” sung by Brandon Lake, for how good and great our LORD God is!

May you have a wonderful time with family and friends this Thursday or whenever you gather to celebrate! Plus, may you all find opportunities to tell others how the LORD has blessed you!

We are Grateful for Prayer Covering on Oct. 23rd at Celebrate New Life Ministries!

For we continue to wait for the fulfillment of our hope in the dawning splendor of the glory of our great God and Savior, Jesus, the Anointed One. Titus 2:13 TPT

Thanks to all of those that covered us in prayer on Oct. 23rd as we bowed in worship before King Jesus! The worship leader, Prophet Wilta, asked Brian to play keys and sing for a sound check.  He felt led to have Brian keep playing and singing while he got out his saxophone and joined in worshipping the Anointed One. The dancers also joined in giving praise to our great God. Holy Spirit’s presence was heavy throughout the time of musical worship!  Afterwards Apostle R’Gina said that she appreciated Freedom To Dance’s unique ministry to the LORD and she sensed angels coming to join us as we worshipped Him. To You alone belongs all the glory for You are the Alpha and Omega!!

Celebrate New Life Ministries Sat., 10/28

Let’s declare King Jesus’s glory, power, and love with dance at Celebrate New Life Ministries International on Saturday, October 28th! In addition to honoring the LORD, we will join in honoring those who serve Him in ministry during Pastor Appreciation month. There will be light refreshments served after the gathering.

Glory to Jehovah for all He did at the Jesus Clinic! Many were touched and blessed by the LORD’s powerful presence! The Lion of Judah was roaring over the gathering!!

Jesus Clinic Crusade Sun., 9/17

Join us in giving glory to our Healer, Jehovah Rapha, at the Jesus Clinic Crusade this coming Sunday, September 17th, at Christ Apostolic Church in New Brighton. The crusade includes participants from Nigeria and Pakistan via Zoom. The service starts at 2pm, but we will gather to practice and prepare at 1pm. We have also been invited to stay for a meal after the service.

Sept. 14 Season Begins

The 2023-24 Freedom to Dance Season will be starting this Thursday, September 14. We will be meeting in the Worship Center (double doors just beyond the Lighthouse Cafe) at Lighthouse Christian Church in Rosemount from 7-8:30pm. All ages will be meeting together at the same time.

Returning and new dancers are welcome!

WHO MAY ATTEND?

• Anyone who wishes to dance for the Lord Jesus.  No previous dance experience necessary.
• Boys and girls from 4 years old on up! Men and Women!
• All Christian church denominations are welcome to join!  This is a multi-church ministry.
• FREE ministry

TIME: 7-8:30pm

Registration: Registration forms and the information sheet may be found at https://freedomtodance.org/registration (click on link). Both registration for new dancers and a “No Change Statement” for returning dancers may be printed out at home and brought in on the first day of class. We will also have forms available at the check in table.

Pool Party Saturday, 8/12!

Our second Summer Pool Party and Potluck is this Saturday, August 12. Freedom To Dance former and current families are invited to come from  3-7 pm to Jim and Willie Love-Winter’s house (6136 Kalen Ct, Woodbury, Minnesota 55129) which will include, of course, dancing for Jesus. The potblessing will start around 5pm.  A big thank you to the Love-Winters for hosting these get-togethers!  Cheryl and Brian will miss seeing you all, since we will be driving our son to grad school in Texas and he needs to be there by the morning of the 14th.

Jesus Clinic Crusade Ministry

We have been invited to minister at the Jesus Clinic Crusade for four consecutive Sundays at Christ Apostolic Church in New Brighton. The crusade includes participants from Nigeria and Pakistan via Zoom. Currently we have committed to just September 17th, however as the LORD leads we may add other dates. The services are at 2pm, so we would practice an hour beforehand, on August 27th, September 3rd, September 10th and September 17th. Please let us know which dates you are available to join us. Ministry Event on 8/4 Cancelled!

Thank you for setting aside Friday, August 4, to minister at Three Deep Leadership Academy. The leader had to make the difficult decision to cancel the summer academy within the first two weeks of the school due to unforeseen circumstances. The Lord willing, we will partner at another time in sharing the joy of praising Jesus with dance/movement!

Pool Party Postponed to 6/26!

Pool Party and Potluck has been postponed due to weather until Monday, June 26. Teach Worship Dance on 8/4!

We have been invited to minister at Three Deep Leadership Academy this summer on Friday, August 4, from 10-11 am. Please put this date and time on your calendar! We will share about how Freedom To Dance leads others to Jesus through movement and then teach a song for everyone to join in praising the LORD with dance! The academy is for 1st-7th graders and emphasizes a multi-generational approach to teaching, so it would be a blessing to come as a multi-generational group to lead them in lifting up the name of Jesus! Let us know if you are able to join us that Friday morning!!

We will let you know which song and what garments to wear at a later time. We might rehearse the song at the pool party on July 15th if everyone who is able to come on August 4th can be there as well, otherwise we will set up a separate day and time to rehearse the song we will be teaching.
