Freedom To Dance Ministry

Freedom To Dance former and current families, as well as prospective dancers that receive a direct email, are invited to attend two pool parties on Sunday, June 22nd, and Saturday, July 26th, at Jim and Willie Love-Winter’s house (6136 Kalen Ct, Woodbury, Minnesota 55129). The pool parties will be from 3-7 pm and include, of course, dancing for Jesus! 

Please RSVP for the June 22nd gathering to let us know if you are coming!! Also, please bring a dish to share. The potblessing will start around 5pm and Love-Winters will provide pulled pork.  A big thank you to them for hosting these get togethers!

Join us in praying for good pool weather on these dates. We are looking forward to fellowship with one another poolside!

The LORD is doing a new thing and Freedom To Dance will be on the move. First a big thank you to Jehovah Jireh for faithfully providing for our every need over the last two decades!! Second, we are grateful to Lighthouse Christian Church for hosting our classes the last few years! We were recently informed that they are selling their building, and the congregation will be moving to a temporary location this Fall. Therefore, Freedom To Dance is also in the process of looking for a new location to hold classes. Please contact Cheryl or Jolene with any suggestions you may have. We would appreciate your prayers for Spirit led wisdom and discernment in the next steps to take!

Our end of season potluck will be held at the Johnson’s home (rain location will be the lobby of Lighthouse Christian Church) on Thursday, May 29th, from 6:30-8:30pm. We’ll be celebrating summer birthdays.  Family members and significant others are invited to join us. The Johnsons will supply grilled beef hot dogs.  Please bring food to share! Fruit, veggies/dip, rice crispy bars, jello squares, chip/dip or another favorite that you or your dancer would love to share with everyone.

A BIG Thank You to All who Ministered & Prayed!

We are grateful to everyone who came to minister at the Centennial Lakes Art Exhibition last Saturday, as well as those who covered us in prayer. The presence of the LORD was welcomed in and a sense of oneness in the LORD manifested. Thank you, Jesus! Thanks also to Rich and Brian for taking video and photos. Thank you most of all, Holy Spirit, for flowing through us and uniting us in praising Adonai!! You are worthy of all the glory and honor!!

Invite to Dance at Art Exhibit

We are invited to minister through Spirit led worship dance during an Art Exhibit at Centennial Lakes Park on Saturday, May 17th. The music has been selected by the organizer to match the theme of Behold God. The art exhibition is an annual event for Christian artists of all kinds to showcase their art. Thank you to those who have already let us know if you are joining us at Centennial Lakes Pavilion in beholding and magnifying the LORD with the art of dance!

In addition to Saturday, the organizer would welcome dancers to come Sunday, May 18th, and free dance to live worship music from 4-5pm. If anyone would like to come on Sunday let us know and we will connect you with the organizer!

Come participate in the National Day of Prayer Gathering on Thursday, May 1st, on the front lawn of the Minnesota State Capitol (known as the Minnesota State Capitol Mall) from 11:30 AM to 1:15 PM! Let us know if you are interested in carpooling.

Worship will be from 11:30 AM to noon. Between noon and 1:15 PM we will intercede for our State and Nation. During that time legislators who want prayer will come out and we will have a chance to pray for them.

If the weather is bad, the event will be held in Christ Lutheran Church (just behind the Capitol), 105 University Ave. W., St. Paul, MN 55103

Thanks for Trinity Care Ministry!

Thank you for coming and sharing the joy of the LORD and the love of Jesus with the residents at Trinity Care Center! Thanks also to everyone who covered us in prayer, plus Brian who ran sound and videotaped! The residents were greatly blessed, and some even had tears in their eyes. A worker said one resident usually doesn’t stay at these events, but she did on Saturday despite difficulty seeing and hearing!  She only communicated nonverbally, but her expressive eyes showed how impacted she was. Hallelujah! We were able to tell our God stories, as well as share and pray with the residents.

Thank you, King Jesus, our gracious Redeemer, for bringing everyone and everything together. To You be all the glory, honor, and praise!!

Join Us at Trinity Care Center on April 12!

Join Freedom To Dance at Trinity Care Center to bring joy to a group of seniors by ministering through worship dance! We will dance 6 songs for the elderly residents in the nursing home portion of Trinity Care Center in Farmington on Saturday, April 12th, at 1:30 pm. Please plan to arrive at 12:30pm to pray and prepare for the event and also to stay to interact with the residents after the program. We will be in the Chateau Area. (Directions to Chateau Area:: Enter at the main entrance and go down lefthand hallway. At the dining room turn left again and walk through to the large room beyond the dining area. The Chateau Area is to the right.)
