Freedom To Dance Ministry

It’s been wonderful worshiping the Lord through dance with you as part of the team during 2017-18!  The F2D End of the Season Party will be at Lighthouse Christian Church (3285 144th St W, Rosemount, MN 55068) on Tuesday (5/1) during our final class!  Class will be from 6:30-8:30 pm and we’ll work on “Revelation Song” and “Forgiveness” as well as having food.  Please bring a dish to share and come when you can, leave when you have to.

May 1 – PARTY!  We’ll be celebrating summer birthdays and will run through our National Day of Prayer songs one last time.  Parents and other family members are invited.  We ask that you bring food to share to this party…  fruit, veggies/dip, rice crispy bars, jello squares, chip/dip…. anything your dancer would love to share with everyone.

May 3 – National Day of Prayer at the Minnesota capitol.  See next post for details.

To God Be the Glory Ministries 20th Anniversary:  Come join us in praising the name of Jesus on Sunday, April 29, at 3 pm (2:15 pm practice)!  We will be dancing two choreographed songs as well as free dancing during the worship time.

April 24 – Last class at Faith Covenant 

Faith Covenant is remodeling their facility starting in May, therefore Tuesday, April 24 will be the last time we will have class there for this season.

April 29 – Dancing at To God Be the Glory Ministries

We have been invited to dance for their 20th anniversary celebration on Sunday, April 29.  They meet in the River of Life Lutheran Church (2200 Fremont Ave N, Minneapolis, MN) chapel. We will meet at 2:15 pm to rehearse and the program starts at 3 pm.  There is a meal following the program.  Please mark your calendars now!  We will send out more specific details later.

May 1 – Year End Party at Lighthouse

Our year end party and final class of the year will be at Lighthouse Christian Church (3285 144th St W, Rosemount, MN 55068) from 6:30-8:30. Please bring a dish to share!

May 3  – National Day of Prayer at the Capitol

We will be at the Minnesota State Capitol (75 Rev Dr Martin Luther King Jr Blvd, Saint Paul, Minnesota) for the National Day of Prayer on Thursday, May 3, 11:30-1:30.  We are planning to dance two worship songs with the Heart of the City Band. For those who can stay beyond the lunch hour, we also hope to have intercessory dance at the far south end of the capitol lawn, where the state of Minnesota is engraved.

     This evening’s (4/3) dance practice is canceled due to weather.  Hope you all had a blessed Holy Week and/or Passover!!  🙂  See you next week!

Freedom to Dance will be participating in the Saturday Evening Finale’ at 6 pm of River of Life Church’s Annual Praise Dance Conference:  Letters to the King. All are welcome to come, whether or not they are dancing, to be part of this powerful event of many churches coming together to glorify God!

Please let us know if you are interested in the workshop in the morning with Jori Thibodeaux at 9 am! Pastor Jori is an anointed worshiper and speaker. Cost is either $30 or a discounted rate of $25 if we have a group of 5 or more (don’t need to be from same ministry/church, just need to register together).

God really blessed us and used us to Shine His Light after we Opened up the Heavens at the inaugural meeting with Solace Ministries International, Reset 2018, held in Minneapolis at the Firehouse Chapel. Thank you to all the wonderful dancers and their families; what a great team God has been putting together!

We praise God for the man who came up to give his life to Jesus at the end of the service; many others were also touched by the Love and Power of God!
