Thank you for your prayers for a new location! We are thanking God for providing a new location for Freedom To Dance classes for the 2025-26 Season!! We will be meeting at Renewed Hope Church in Eagan starting on Thursday, Septermber 25th from 7-8:30pm. All ages will be meeting together at the same time.
Returning and new dancers are welcome!
WHO MAY ATTEND?
Anyone who wishes to dance for the Lord Jesus. No previous dance experience necessary.
Boys and girls from 4 years old on up! Men and Women!
All Christian church denominations are welcome to join! This is a multi-church ministry.
Registration: Registration forms and the information sheet may be found at https://freedomtodance.org/registration (click on link). Both registration for new dancers and a “No Change Statement” for returning dancers may be printed out at home and brought in on the first day of class. We will also have forms available at the check in table.
Thanks for Covering the F2D Summer Dance Outreach!!
Thanks for covering us in prayer during the Summer Dance Outreach on August 3rd! There was a church also at the park having 42-70 baptisms and one young man who we shared Jesus with was there to see his mom baptized. She was grateful for our words of encouragement to him. A number of children joined us in dancing with pom poms and praising Jesus. We shared our testimonies and the love of Jesus with many at the park. Holy Spirit’s presence was felt and the joy of the Lord was abundant!

You are invited to join us on an outreach adventure that includes praise dancing, sharing God’s love and the gospel at Crystal Lake Beach Park on Sunday, August 3rd! The dances will be mostly Spirit led with one rotating leader who others will follow. We will set up and pray at 4 PM then follow Holy Spirit’s lead!

Thanks to everyone who came to minister at the women’s Bible study, as well as all those who covered us in prayer! The ladies were blessed by “the first song “Shadow of Shaddai” and joyfully joined us in using dance to worship God during “We Love You Lord.” Remember to worship the Lord out in nature and to enjoy His presence as you spend time with him in his creation! We were reminded of El Shaddai’s caring for and covering us as we left the building and saw a feathered, light rose colored cloud in the shape of a wing over it!

We have been invited to minister a dance presentation for a Women’s Bible Study at CHRISTchurch, as well as teach them how to use movement to worship the LORD, our Creator, and overcome anxiety! The study is from 6:30-7:30 pm on Thursday, July 31st. We will be dancing two songs. For the first song at the start of class we will minister a choreographed song. At the end of class all the ladies will be invited to join in praising our Creator-God with dance to the song picked out by the organizer.

Males please wear white tops (white buttoned shirt preferred) and black bottoms. We have a few extras, but not enough for everyone. 🙂 Nude/flesh colored dance shoes or going barefoot is fine.

Summer Ministry Event
We have been invited to dance for a Women’s Bible Study at CHRISTchurch as a demonstration of using movement to worship the LORD and overcome anxiety! The study is from 6:30-7:30 pm on Thursday, July 31st. We will be dancing two songs. The first one has been chosen by the Bible study leader and we will use Spirit led dance like we did for the art exhibit. We will dance a second one that we have rehearsed in class at the end of the Bible study.
Please let us know if you will be able to join us in ministering on July 31st. A practice time will be scheduled prior to the event with those who will be participating.

The LORD is doing a new thing and Freedom To Dance will be on the move. First a big thank you to Jehovah Jireh for faithfully providing for our every need over the last two decades!! Second, we are grateful to Lighthouse Christian Church for hosting our classes the last few years! We were recently informed that they are selling their building, and the congregation will be moving to a temporary location this Fall. Therefore, Freedom To Dance is also in the process of looking for a new location to hold classes. Please contact Cheryl or Jolene with any suggestions you may have. We would appreciate your prayers for Spirit led wisdom and discernment in the next steps to take!

Our end of season potluck will be held at the Johnson’s home (rain location will be the lobby of Lighthouse Christian Church) on Thursday, May 29th, from 6:30-8:30pm. We’ll be celebrating summer birthdays. Family members and significant others are invited to join us. The Johnsons will supply grilled beef hot dogs. Please bring food to share! Fruit, veggies/dip, rice crispy bars, jello squares, chip/dip or another favorite that you or your dancer would love to share with everyone.

We are grateful to everyone who came to minister at the Centennial Lakes Art Exhibition last Saturday, as well as those who covered us in prayer. The presence of the LORD was welcomed in and a sense of oneness in the LORD manifested. Thank you, Jesus! Thanks also to Rich and Brian for taking video and photos. The music has been selected by the organizer to match the theme of Behold God. The art exhibition is an annual event for Christian artists of all kinds to showcase their art. Thank you to those who have already let us know if you are joining us at Centennial Lakes Pavilion in beholding and magnifying the LORD with the art of dance!
In addition to Saturday, the organizer would welcome dancers to come Sunday, May 18th, and free dance to live worship music from 4-5pm. If anyone would like to come on Sunday let us know and we will connect you with the organizer!

Come participate in the National Day of Prayer Gathering on Thursday, May 1st, on the front lawn of the Minnesota State Capitol (known as the Minnesota State Capitol Mall) from 11:30 AM to 1:15 PM! Let us know if you are interested in carpooling.
Worship will be from 11:30 AM to noon. Between noon and 1:15 PM we will intercede for our State and Nation. During that time legislators who want prayer will come out and we will have a chance to pray for them.
