Freedom To Dance former and current families, as well as prospective dancers that receive a direct email, are invited to attend the next pool party on Saturday, July 26th, at Jim and Willie Love-Winter’s house (6136 Kalen Ct, Woodbury, Minnesota 55129). The pool party will be from 3-7 pm and include, of course, dancing for Jesus! 

Please RSVP for the July 26th gathering to let us know if you are coming!! Also, please bring a dish to share. The potblessing will start around 5pm and Love-Winters will provide pulled pork.  A big thank you to them for hosting this get together!

You are invited to join us on an outreach adventure that includes praise dancing, sharing God’s love and the gospel at a local park! Please let us know which of the following three days: July 20, August 3, and/or August 6 you would be available.

We have been invited to dance for a Women’s Bible Study at CHRISTchurch as a demonstration of using movement to worship the LORD and overcome anxiety! The study is from 6:30-7:30 pm on Thursday, July 31st. We will be dancing two songs. The first one has been chosen by the Bible study leader and we will use Spirit led dance like we did for the art exhibit. We will dance a second one that we have rehearsed in class at the end of the Bible study.

Please let us know if you will be able to join us in ministering on July 31st. A practice time will be scheduled prior to the event with those who will be participating.

WHAT TO WEAR:  Please wear WHITE/BLACK for the gals and WHITE/BLACK for the guys.  We will provide skirts or overlays for females, as well as accessories for all.  For females, please wear modest, all white tops (sparkles are fine but no colored designs please) and black pants/capris/culottes (black leggings or tights are fine for those under 12) .  Males please wear white tops (white buttoned shirt preferred) and black bottoms. We have a few extras, but not enough for everyone. 🙂 Nude/flesh colored dance shoes or going barefoot is fine.

The LORD is doing a new thing and Freedom To Dance will be on the move. First a big thank you to Jehovah Jireh for faithfully providing for our every need over the last two decades!! Second, we are grateful to Lighthouse Christian Church for hosting our classes the last few years! We were recently informed that they are selling their building, and the congregation will be moving to a temporary location this Fall. Therefore, Freedom To Dance is also in the process of looking for a new location to hold classes. Please contact Cheryl or Jolene with any suggestions you may have. We would appreciate your prayers for Spirit led wisdom and discernment in the next steps to take!
