Breakthrough Ministries is an amazing ministry helping the homeless in Minneapolis. We’ve been privileged to help serve here once a month by dancing in their church service and many of you have signed up to help serve food as well. They’d like our help!
Join us on Saturday, March 15 for a Fundraising Gala. This Gala is their annual fundraising event and they are dependent on participants, so please purchase tickets and come and enjoy a meal and silent auction.

It was so fun for those that could make it on Saturday to St Paul! There were amazingly different dance groups that all had their own ways to worship the Lord. How cool!
For those of you who couldn’t make it, we wanted to do another recording of our songs tomorrow night. Rich from Sonrise Productions will be at our practice to record the songs.
SO, Everyone come DRESSED in your 1950′s outfits on Tuesday!
We will be doing the recording at 6:45pm, so parents, you are invited to take photos and/or video. The first dance will be “Shake,” and then we will dance “Overcomer” so teens and adults need to come with that outfit as well as we’ll change and then record it.
Hope to see you all on Tuesday!
As far as we know, the River of Life Dance Concert is still on for this evening. I’ve tried to call the pastor’s cell and the church, but have got no response. Jolene and Terriann are still planning on going tonight, but please do not feel like you need to go. The roads are marked as ‘treacherous’ by MN DOT, so if you are hesitant to attempt to drive on the roads, please do not feel like you need to go. Because some parents have already called and some are deciding not to come tonight, we will have a special ‘dress concert’ on Tuesday night for the parents. So, dancers, please come dressed in your dance outfit on Tuesday and we will dance especially for the parents. Parents, bring your cameras.
See some of you tonight and hopefully all of you on Tuesday evening!
God bless! Safe travels if you are driving.
Attention All Worship Dancers! You’re Invited!

ATTENTION FREEDOM TO DANCE! The rest is for you…
We will be dancing in the evening finale’ concert at 6:00 pm, Saturday Feb 22
Location: River of Life Christian Church, 739 Summit Avenue, St. Paul, MN 55105
Kids: “Shake” by Mercy me. Come dressed in a 1950′s style outfit. You may choose to wear sunglasses if you would like. Try to have hair tied up in a high ponytail. We talked about outfit choices at practice. If you have any questions about this, please email us: email@example.com
- Practice: We should be able to practice the song on stage at 5:30, so please arrive no later then 5:30. Meet upstairs in the worship area.
- We are trying to have this song towards the start of the concert so that the little ones can leave to go home after the song and not have to stay the entire evening.
Teens/Adults: “Overcomer” by Mandissa. If you will be dancing “Shake” with the kids, come dressed in your 1950′s outfit (as referenced above). This song will be towards the start of the evening. You’ll be able to change later. For “Overcomer” have black pants and a long-sleeve black shirt. Overlay will be provided.
- Practice: We should be able to practice the song around 5:00, so arrive by then and meet upstairs if possible. We will probably only get one chance to practice and then can go into the hall to practice.
We are hoping and praying that all of our dancers will be able to attend this evening concert. We’ve been dancing in this event for over 10 years. It’s so full of diversity in color choices, styles, and dance. It’s an amazing display of God’s variety in worship. Bring guests to watch. There will be a free-will offering during the event.
See ya Saturday!
